ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus held a post-session town hall at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alexandria on August 26.
Lawmakers spoke with residents about major issues facing the state.
One topic was redistricting. State Representative Edmond Johnson said lawmakers may be called back to Baton Rouge in October for a special session.
“If it is for redistricting, then we’ll have to cross that bridge when we get to it, but that’ll be a battle that we’re going to be ready to fight,” Johnson said.
