OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Trump Administration is targeting a sex education program aimed at helping transgender and nonbinary kids.

They’re giving Nebraska 60 days to get rid of content teaching students about gender identity.

They also warn that failing to meet the deadline could put funding in danger.

“We’re not super fans of hurting kids,” Sarah Miller, chief of medical services at OneWorld, said.

Miller helps oversee their Omaha Teen Generation group, where teens and young adults can learn about sexual health.

She said it’s one of the many programs that is at risk for cuts.
