PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) -An over 500-page police report reveals new details about the UW-Platteville student who shot and killed her resident assistant, before taking her own life during the final week of school in May.

Hallie Helms, 22, of Baraboo and Kelsie Martin, 22, of Beloit had both just graduated from the University the week before they died.

The police report shows a history of Helms’ concerning behavior including online searches about buying a gun, suicidal topics and maps of Wilgus Hall, the residence hall where the incident occurred.

Police also found a notebook with writings on similar topics.

Helms was studying Early Education, but had missed a substantial amount of class near the end of the semester, according to her professors.
