Geddes, N.Y. — Good weather for much of Tuesday helped bring more than 60,000 people through the gates of the New York State Fair .

A total of 60,116 people entered the fairgrounds on Day 7, according to fair spokesperson Katie Rey.

The crowd came out for Fire, Rescue and EMS Day as well as Beef Day.

Many also braved stormy evening weather to catch concerts across the fairgrounds. Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits played Chevy Court in the afternoon, followed by Sister Hazel at 6 p.m. Lil Jon drew about 6,000 people to Suburban Park Tuesday night.

So far, attendance in 2025 has reached 431,010 through the first seven days, with daily numbers ranging from Wednesday’s 32,736 to Saturday’s peak of 88,060.
