AZ schools chief Tom Horne pulls back data ID'ing some ESA students

The Arizona Department of Education has pulled back data that personally identifies some students enrolled in the state's universal voucher program.

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne said the error was a mistake that affected a "tiny percentage" of the Empowerment Scholarship Account purchases in the 475,000 lines of data released in response to a public records request.
