RIVERDALE – A man was arrested after police said he pushed a woman out of her moving vehicle, then drove away with it.

Jimmy Lee Lambertus, 45, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery, reckless aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult, aggravated kidnapping while committing unlawful detention and theft, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

On Friday, officers with the Riverdale Police Department said they responded to a report of an aggravated robbery and kidnapping at a local business.

Police said the victim, “who is a vulnerable adult,” reported she was driving through a parking lot when a stranger yelled and stopped her vehicle.
