EAGLE MOUNTAIN — A l arge fire in a condominium building destroyed a 12-unit building and forced everyone inside to evacuate in the middle of the night on Tuesday. Some of the residents even risked their own lives to warn their neighbors.

“My wife came down the hall and said ‘Holy cow the place is on fire,'” said Corbin White, a resident on the first floor.

White was among the first in the building to spot the fire around 1 a.m., but instead of running out, he rushed upstairs to warn his neighbors. The fire was so hot, White burned his wrist banging on their doors.

“I went up there, realized their place was catching fire, so that’s when I kicked the door seven or eight times, kicked it in, and by the time I kicked it in the smoke was non-visible to like my stomach, you couldn’t see an
