PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – No charges have been filed yet in the investigation of a Pueblo mortuary, but a prosecutor and former deputy district attorney is examining how the situation might unfold.

Authorities are investigating why 24 decomposing bodies were found in a concealed area at Davis Mortuary, owned by Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter and his brother, Chris.

Such a discovery is not unprecedented.

Eric Faddis, a prosecutor from Varner Faddis and a former deputy district attorney in Arapahoe County, believes previous cases will likely impact the proceedings at Davis Mortuary.
