RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Labor Day is this weekend, and AAA Mid-Atlantic has some must know travel tips and information for people before they hit the road.

"Looking at domestic, round-trip flights for Labor Day this year, about six percent cheaper compared to last year, the average is about $720 a ticket, hotel rates, about 11 percent cheaper than last year, and rental car rates, about three percent cheaper than last year," said Morgan Dean, AAA Mid-Atlantic spokesperson.
