The Edison/School of the Arts/Padilla Franklin high school football team is in the same situation as recent seasons — with a new coach.

Chris Taylor plans to take the Inventors out of independence after this season with a new staff of assistants for 2025, including three from University Prep. Taylor, a 41-year old Edison graduate, first coached in the Rochester City School District in 2007. He was the varsity football coach at Leadership Academy in 2018.
