Coronation Street viewers have been left rather puzzled after the iconic soap was pulled from the schedules once more in another significant programming reshuffle.

The enduring long-running ITV drama typically follows a consistent weekly pattern, broadcasting hour-long episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.

Nevertheless, this week has witnessed a highly disrupted timetable as Coronation Street was moved from its usual Wednesday (August 27) transmission slot.

The beloved programme instead went out from 8pm to 9pm on Monday evening (August 25), Tuesday evening (August 26) and will also similarly broadcast on Friday (August 29) night in the identical time period.
