Jason Mackey: Steelers have the pieces in place, but we haven't seen how they'll work together

We’ve been at this for over a month now, watching training camp practices in Latrobe, interviewing players and coaches, gleaning information from preseason games and trying to figure out how the puzzle pieces could potentially fit.

There are still many mysteries, at least on the outside, although those in the thick of it weren’t nearly as concerned when I posed the question about Week 1 readiness after Monday’s practice at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
