Noel and Liam Gallagher’s brother, Paul Gallagher, arrived at court on Wednesday morning after being charged with rape.

Last month, police announced that Paul Gallagher, the elder brother of the musicians had been charged with multiple offences, including rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

In a statement to Metro, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022 – 2024. The charges follow an investigation that commenced in 2024. A woman is being supported by specially-trained officers.’
