Former Vanderbilt University and NFL quarterback Jay Cutler has agreed to plead guilty to driving under the influence and serve four days in jail as part of a plea arrangment after his October arrest in Williamson County.
Cutler was also facing a weapons possession charge in connection with the case, but it was dropped as part of the arrangement, records show. In addition to the jail time, he is also forfeiting a gun, his Tennessee license is being revoked and he must pay a $350 fine, records say.
Cutler was first arrested after the Franklin Police Department was called to the 200 block of Bridge Street at about 5 p.m. on Oct. 17.
Investigators said Cutler, driving a White Dodge Ram pick-up truck, rear-ended a GMC.
