WASHINGTON — When the biggest pop culture news of the year broke , some of the few people likely kept in the dark the longest were located at The White House.

That's because Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement announcement happened while a Cabinet meeting was going on. It didn't appear that anyone in the Cabinet had their phones on the table and so they likely hadn't seen the news...until a reporter asked President Donald Trump to give his take.
