A mum who shed five stone in just five months using weight loss injections has claimed that the medication also helped curb her £500-a-month shopping addiction.

Donique Wint, 38, saw her weight balloon to 18 stone after years of indulging in Nando's and Haribo sweets.

Alongside her "non-stop grazing" on Walker's Prawn Cocktail crisps while working from home as a civil servant, Donique would spend her evenings engrossed in online shopping.

The self-proclaimed shopaholic confessed to spending up to £500 per month on trainers, making "impulse" purchases of outfits from Pretty Little Thing, and splurging on £5K family holidays to Jamaica for her daughter, 20, and son, six.
