A Palestinian brewery in the Israeli-occupied West Bank has launched a new lager which will be sold across the UK.
Family-owned Taybeh Brewing Co has bypassed customs restrictions and rising costs by teaming up with Scottish firm Brewgooder.
The brewery has defied water shortages and the threat of settler attacks to launch its new lager Sun & Stone.
It has been named after the region’s warm climate and rocky terrain.
The lager has been brewed at zero profit by Brewgooder and Taybeh's Madees Khoury – the region’s first and only female brewmaster.
It is available from the Brewgooder website and will be stocked in 1,600 Co-op stores across the UK from September 10.
All proceeds from sales of the drink will support Taybeh's local community.
