MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The executive director of the Shelby County Office of Reentry and pastor for Lifeline to a Dying World Ministries is behind bars on a $1.1 million bond and facing a 12-count indictment accusing him of felony theft.

Court records show 50-year-old Deandre Brown was arrested Wednesday after a grand jury deemed there was enough evidence to indict him on the following charges:

3 counts of property theft (over $250,000)

2 counts of property theft (between $60,000-$250,000)

2 counts of computer crime ($60,000 or more)

2 counts of computer crime (between $10,000-$60,000)

2 counts of money laundering

official misconduct

His indictment stems from charges filed in 2020.
