ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Scattered lake effect rain showers are around the region this morning and will linger to about noon as cold air flows over Lake Ontario. Water temperatures are at or above air temperatures through the next several days. Highs this afternoon wind their way into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Afternoon sun turns to a clear night and we fall back into the 50s. Thursday morning will be beautiful to start as temperatures climb into the middle 70s. A cold front approaches from the north that will bring rain and storms Thursday evening.
A north flow sets up here and we go back into lake effect mode Friday. Expect scattered showers to linger through most of the morning before high pressure takes over and showers fade. Your Labor Day weekend looks good with partly cloudy skies
