BROWNSBURG, Ind. — Brownsburg officials are investigating after a daughter woke up to glass breaking and escaped a house fire Wednesday morning.

Around 3 a.m. Aug. 27, Brownsburg Fire Territory crews responded to a report of the fire in the 10400 block of Ballard Drive , near 56th Street and Raceway Road.

The address of the home is listed as the location of Clover Kids Preschool.

Firefighters worked for over two hours to put the fire out and all of its hotspots. According to Jerry Harder with BFT, holes in the floor and roof forced crews to fight the fire from the outside.

Now, the "entire roof of the house" is completely destroyed and gone. Harder said they believe the house is close to a total loss.
