We’re seeing some clouds to start the day as an upper-level system rolls through. Its presence should be enough to fire off a few widely scattered (also known as isolated or very few) shower/downpours this afternoon.

There’s not a lot of water vapor to work with – reflected in our low dew points - so coverage will be spotty at best. Still, a few downpours could put down a quick quarter to half inch.

Sunshine resumes on Thursday as high temperatures stay in the temperate 70s once more.

Friday sees our next chance for beneficial rain as a deeper upper-level system moves overhead.
