British Gas has issued an urgent message for customers who are using electricity this week. British Gas is holding a Green Flex event tomorrow, Thursday 28 August, where it’s PeakSave customers can enjoy half price electricity.

Customers can save money between 2pm and 4pm tomorrow, as windy and sunny conditions have resulted in more renewable energy being available. PeakSave Green Flex events allow customers to benefit from half-price electricity during the two-hour window decided by the energy provider.

That is based on when it very sunny or windy and there is lots of renewable energy available. Eligible customers will be emailed to opt in and take part. The discount is available to new and existing PeakSave customers, and all savings will appear as a credit on customers’ energy bil
