It's been almost two years since Steph's Packed Lunch was axed by Channel 4 but host Steph McGovern is finally returning to screens with a series of new projects. The star, 43, has announced her latest career move, which will see her rejoin the BBC as a presenter after quitting the broadcaster in 2019 to move to Channel 4. ‌

Steph fronted her own chat show on Channel 4 from 2020 until 2023, broadcasting daily from Leeds. Steph's Packed Lunch featured celebrity interviews, cooking segments and a rundown of the day's headlines. However, the programme was suddenly axed in December 2023 due to low viewing figures. Steph has since appeared on other shows as a presenter, including Sunday Brunch, and took part in Netflix's reality series Bear Hunt. ‌
