Food Network says this is the best fair food in New York (they’re wrong)

Here at the New York State Fair , we know good food.

There are lots of old favorites and iconic state fair foods to love in our NY State Fair Hall of Fame (Italian sausage, pizze fritte, baked potatoes, etc.)

But, according to a recent list on Food Network’s website, “buffalo wing pierogi” is the best food at any fair in the state of New York.

Here’s what they wrote:

“Babcia’s Pierogi makes nearly 1 million pierogi a year, spanning 24 traditional and signature filling flavors that range from hearty to spicy to creamy. Some of their most creative creations can be sampled at the Erie County Fair , including fan-favorites like crab-stuffed-mushroom, Guinness pot roast and poutine. For a New York-centric bite, opt for the Buffalo wing pierogi. The family’s traditional dough recipe is
