WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Two young teenagers are facing charges after they were accused of robbing people in Washington, D.C.
The first robbery took place on July 30, in the 1100 block of New Jersey Avenue, where a 14-year-old boy allegedly snatched something from a person before running away.
Nearly a month later, the boy was arrested and charged with robbery (snatch), according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
D.C. police said that the second robbery happened in the 5200 block of Bass Place, SE, on Aug. 9.
Minutes after 9 p.m., three people armed with guns reportedly approached the victim and demanded their phone. The victim gave the group their phone, and the trio left the scene.
