MLive has been on a search to find Michigan’s showiest flower gardens. We received a lot of great pictures from gardeners all over our state. Here are some of the most eye-popping flower gardens.
Robert Hance of Newaygo has his garden sprawling from around his house, down a walking path into a wooded area.
Barbara McCann of Northport has a compact flower garden with a lot of color. The garden is mostly perennials and uses boulders and berms to give somewhat of a hill effect to her central garden. She shows us how we can use other earth features to add to the garden look.
Pam and Dale Steen of Rochester are inspired in their garden by their dog, Harley. While Harley is a small dog, Pam and Dale’s garden has a lot of beautiful and tall flowers, like the giant dahlias.
