HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A gas leak early Wednesday morning has been contained, according to the Huntersville Fire Department.
Just before 3 a.m. on August 27, crews responded to a ruptured gas line in the 10400 block of Sam Furr Road. This is between Interstate 77 and Old Statesville Road.
Sam Furr Road was closed for over an hour while HFD crews accessed and isolated the gas line. Piedmont Natural Gas also responded.
