A person has been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle crash near Tonbridge . Officers from Kent Police, and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics, were called to the scene on the A21 Tonbridge Bypass near Hildenborough at around 9.30am this morning (August 27).

The coastbound carriageway was subsequently fully closed between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge, resulting in hefty delays in the area. Paramedics treated two patients at the scene, one of whom was taken to a local hospital for further care.

A spokesperson for SECAmb said: “South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A21 Tonbridge Bypass shortly after 9.30am today. Ambulance crews assessed and treated two patients on scene.
