Calgary is approaching a week of high temperatures ahead of Labour Day long weekend, with the heat expected to last the duration of the weekend.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of the province warning for what the agency calls a “long duration heat event,” with temperatures expected to range from 29 to 33 C.
