When the Sampson County Schools Board of Education met Monday night, one of the items on the consent agenda included a three-year partnership plan with Daybreak Health to provide students and their families with increased and easier access to local mental health services. The consent agenda was approved unanimously.

Daybreak Health provides virtual sessions with students and/or their families to ensure that a cry for help is not going unheard. In the proposal for the Daybreak and SCS partnership, Daybreak stated that within the next school year they hope to provide students and their families with up to 12 sessions regardless of their insurance status.
