More information is emerging in the heartbreaking case of Emmanuel Haro .

Almost two weeks after the 7-month-old’s mom Rebecca Haro reported him missing —and just days after she and husband Jake Haro were arrested on suspicion of murdering their son—court documents reveal when investigators think Emmanuel may have been killed.

Per the complaint obtained by E! News, authorities believe that “on or about August 05, 2025, through and including August 14, 2025, in the County of Riverside, State of California, the defendant(s) did willfully and unlawfully murder” Emmanuel.

If proved true, this timeline would mean Emmanuel was killed as early as nine days before Rebecca said he was kidnapped under her watch.
