AN NFL Pro Bowler has been axed in an astounding eighth transaction involving the veteran in just 18 months.

The axed NFL player has earned $42.7 million in career earnings.

All 32 NFL teams were forced to trim their rosters to 53 players ahead of Tuesday's 4:00 pm ET deadline .

But hours earlier, a veteran wide receiver received the brutal news of losing employment with a team.

The Cleveland Browns announced the release of wideout Diontae Johnson.

The 29-year-old acknowledged his release in a post on X before the move became official.

"Appreciate the opportunity regardless," Johnson wrote.

Cleveland signed Johnson to a one-year deal worth $1.17 million back in April.

The decision marked the fourth team in two years for Johnson, who had a drama-filled 2024 campaign.
