We've only had one official week of high school football in Florida, but it was enough to prompt some major shakeups in the USA TODAY poll.

Columbus, which beat Miami Southridge 14-7 in a weather-shortened game, takes over the top spot in Class 7A. The Explorers received nine of 11 possible first-place votes, with Vero Beach picking up the other two.

Jones, which opened the season at No. 2 in Class 4A, jumped into the top spot after a 35-0 win at Winter Park. American Heritage, the defending state champion, dropped to No. 2 depite an epic come-from-behind win against St. Joseph's (Pennsylvania) in Week 1.
