WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - Crews wrapped up battling a southeast Wichita apartment fire that erupted early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded at around 5:15 a.m. to the 2400 block of East Harry, near I-135, with fire showing through one unit. Pictures from the scene showed at least two units with fire damage. Prior to gaining entry, crews were able to knock down the fire from the outside, and made an entry to the inside to combat the fire. As additional units arrived, search and rescue was conducted, and a water supply was established. Most crews had left the scene by 7:10 a.m.
