Derby County have secured the signing of Blackburn Rovers captain Lewis Travis.
Derby have paid an undisclosed fee for the midfielder, who has signed a four-year contract and becomes their 11th signing of the summer which sees him end a decade of service to Rovers.
John Eustace has long admired the Blackburn skipper, who was a key player for Derby's head coach during his reign at Ewood Park.
Travis was in the final year of his contract at Rovers and his switch to Pride Park completes what has been a considerable chase for his signature.
The 27-year-old had made it clear that he did not want to stay with Rovers with boss Valerien Ismael confirming he wanted to leave earlier this month.
But relations were reportedly strained over how Blackburn handled Travis' departure and he was not
