“The Musical Ride pays homage not only to the RCMP’s history, but to Canada’s as well,” Cpl. Troy Savinkoff told the Whitecourt Star and Mayerthorpe Freelancer .

Savinkoff described the ride as being “a true Canadian experience,” adding it’s a memorable moment when an officer can first put on the red serge and march.
