The UCP government’s disdain for the vaccine could not be more obvious. Alberta is now the only province to make most people pay for a booster. The fee is a hefty $100 .
One reason, according to Premier Danielle Smith, is that last year’s uptake on booster shots was under 14 per cent.
The response, you’d think, would be a government effort to raise the percentage. But Smith’s policy is sure to drive it down.
