HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A Holyoke man was taken into custody after being identified as a suspect in a stabbing on Sunday.
The Holyoke Police Department states that on Sunday at around 8:20 a.m., officers were sent to 435 Appleton Street for a reported stabbing. First aid was provided to the victim, and he was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
An investigation by Holyoke Police Detectives revealed 40-year-old Carlos Javier Caraballo of Holyoke as a suspect. Detectives also learned that the stabbing took place in the area of Chestnut Street and Appleton Street. The victim ran to 435 Appleton Street to get away from the suspect and called 911.
