OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - An 18-year sentence has been recommended for a man convicted of a 2023 drive-by shooting in Oklahoma City.

Officials say on August 15, 2023, the Oklahoma City Police Department began investigating a drive-by shooting in the 500 block of SE 44th St.

Investigators spoke with someone in the home who was the target of the shooting, saying that 23-year-old Damien Jacobs had sent her threatening messages on social media. Shortly after the messages, multiple gunshots were fired at her home.

Based on the evidence gathered, Jacobs was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
