OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Neighbors and businesses are speaking out, frustrated with a Northwest Oklahoma City charter school's pick-up lines that wrap around several blocks.
"Sometimes emergency vehicles are blocked in; it's an issue," said one neighbor.
Businesses and those near the school said it has been that way for years, but only recently has it gotten worse due to increased enrollment.
It's Astec Charter School near Penn and NW 23rd, located in Shepherds Mall. The pickup line starts around 2 p.m. on weekdays and extends several blocks into nearby neighborhood streets. It ends after 4 p.m.
