BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - Families across the Brazos Valley rely on pediatric care at St. Joseph, but sources told KBTX that the hospital system is planning to discontinue pediatric care in Bryan and College Station over the next several months.

Sources said local St. Joseph pediatricians have reportedly been offered positions with Texas Children’s Hospital, which already operates University Pediatric Associates in College Station.

KBTX reached out to both St. Joseph and Texas Children’s multiple times this week to verify this information, but they declined to comment.
