LA JOLLA – The latest news from Friends of Coast Walk Trail in La Jolla is all good.

The 15-year-old nonprofit supporting the trail’s ongoing maintenance and development has just completed an approximately $125,000 repair to the bridge, which is scheduled to reopen to the public on Friday.

Also, a new group, La Jolla Coastal Conservancy, was recently formed to conduct repair and maintenance projects in public park spaces for La Jolla Shoreline Parks. That work is done in an area bounded by Coast Walk Trail on the north end and Whale View Point on the lower end.
