Taylor Swift predicted early on in her career that she wouldn’t get married until the age of 35.

In a clip , which resurfaced after the pop star’s engagement to Travis Kelce , a television host playfully told Swift that she’s “not allowed to get married until she’s 35” while she focuses on her music career.

“No, it’s gonna be late. Late in life,” Swift, now 35, agreed.

The “Lover” songstress also shared she’s “always going to be personal” when it comes to her music, adding, “I don’t hold anything back in that category.”

The clip resurfaced shortly after Swift and her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce, announced their engagement via Instagram on Tuesday.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” they captioned photos from the garden proposal.
