SOMERSWORTH — A local bakery is hoping to expand into a larger space, and the first step was to meet with the city's Historic District Commission.

The HDC meets on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m., in the city council chambers.

Olivia Furino and her mom, Deborah Furino, are co-owners of Third Space Bakery , currently located at 8 Government Way, next to the post office.
