The Padres will begin the 2026 season by playing host to the Detroit Tigers on March 26 at Petco Park in the opener of a three-game series, according to the preliminary schedule announced Tuesday by Major League

Baseball.

The Padres also will play interleague games at Petco Park against the Seattle Mariners April 14-16, Chicago White Sox May 1-3, Athletics May 18-20, Toronto Blue Jays July 10-12, Houston Astros Aug. 7-9, Minnesota Twins Aug. 21- 23 and New York Yankees Sept. 4-6.

The Padres will be at home for Jackie Robinson Day on April 15, Mother's Day on May 10, Memorial Day on May 25, and Labor Day on Sept. 7.
