KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has agreed to a six-game suspension after he was involved in a 2024 multi-car crash that left several people injured in Dallas.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the NFL had originally proposed a 10-12-game suspension; however, the organization reached an agreement with Rice, who accepted six.
The suspension will begin at the start of the 2025 season.
Pelissero's post on X said, "The NFL and NFLPA are working to finalize the settlement, which will end Rice’s disciplinary limbo and make him eligible to return Week 7 vs. Las Vegas."
