FRISCO, Texas — Go ahead and add two more players to the initial 53-man roster of the Dallas Cowboys , now that the first wave of regular season waivers has concluded. Seeking to bolster their depth at cornerback heading into their Week 1 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles, they'll welcome Trikweze Bridges and Reddrick "Reddy" Steward to the club.
Bridges and Steward were both awarded to the Cowboys via waivers on Tuesday, moves that will require them to free up two seats to make room for the new additions — as anyone claimed on waivers must be added to the active roster.
Those moves are to-be-determined at this time.
As a related aside, Tyrus Wheat was the only player waived by the Cowboys who was claimed by another team, heading to the Detroit Lions for head coach Dan Campbell.
