LADOGA, Ind. -- A Ladoga man was arrested after a reported stabbing led to a SWAT standoff at a home on Monday evening.

According to a news release from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, 48-year-old Dale Sizemore has been preliminarily charged with: • Attempted murder • Aggravated battery while armed with a deadly weapon • Domestic battery

Emergency personnel were dispatched around 7:12 p.m. Monday to a home on North Bruce Street in Ladoga regarding a stabbing. When deputies arrived, they reportedly found a 46-year-old woman, identified as a Ladoga resident, who had been stabbed multiple times.

The woman was transported to an Indianapolis hospital and is reportedly in stable condition, according to the release.
