KOKOMO, Ind. — A Kokomo man has been sentenced to more than four decades in prison after beating and burning three people in two separate cases .
Troy Lamar Wilson, 36, was sentenced to 42 years, with 12 years of that sentence suspended.
Wilson pleaded guilty to criminal confinement and aggravated battery charges in two separate cases on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Charges of criminal recklessness, battery and rape were dropped as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.
In July 2019, according to the Howard County Prosecutor’s Office, Wilson and others confined, beat, stripped, burned and held at gunpoint two victims at an undisclosed location.
The victims were then forced to point their guns at one another.
