Its models are predominantly “clean girls” with slicked-back ponytails, and its gyms are expensive and filled with young thin influencers. You know what doesn’t mesh so well with that branding? Getting older, according to a new lawsuit filed against the company. Briohny Smyth, a 42-year-old yoga instructor and influencer, filed a lawsuit on Monday accusing Alo of age discrimination, claiming she was let go because her age no longer met the “Alo aesthetic.”
